Nineteen Eighty-Four [1984]

by George Orwell

Condition: Near Fine/Very Good

First edition, first impression (Secker & Warburg, 1949).

Publisher's original green cloth with red lettering to spine. Very slight spine slant with a touch of fading to spine head. Boards and contents nice and clean and free from inscriptions with red top-stain still present. The original green dust jacket is lovely and bright and unfaded with no restoration work. A little bit of loss to spine head and top corner of upper panel; a few closed tears to edges and small chips to corners with a touch of occasional rubbing here and there.

A very nice copy indeed of an iconic work of dystopian political fiction.
