Faint scattered foxing, light wear and short tears to edges (well outside plate area); a bright image. An exquisite image of a leafy branch from a hazelnut tree drawn by Antoine Poiteau, with botanical details. Plate 223 from an edition of Poiteau and Turpin: Traite des Arbres Fruitiers (1808-1835). Printed by Langlois, a master printer who worked with Redoute. A handsome large antique botanical engraving. .
