Two volumes re-bound by Talin Bookbindery of Cape Cod, with green leather spine and corners, and green cloth over boards; Raised spine bands with gilt stamped lettering and decoration; Housed in matching custom two compartment slipcase; All edges gilded; 131 hand colored plates; Ex-Library with institutional stamps on title pages and verso, though with NO other library markings; Now rebound; Covers and slipcase remain Fine and exceptionally attractive; Moisture stains are seen on the first ten leaves near heel; Plate 1 is uniformly just a little darkened, and there are a couple of small tears in margins; Illustration remains bright; All other plates remain clean and very bright;

With more than 25 years of experience buying and selling out-of-print, collectible, and rare books, maps, and ephemera, I am now doing business from my home at 60 Poplar Heights Rd.; Chanute, KS 66720; U.S.A. by appointment only. Fine bindings, plate books, signed and inscribed items are an important part of my collections. Smaller, though intriguing collections of other genre are also a part of my holdings.
