London: John Lane: The Bodley Head, 1898. First printing. Hardcover. Good. 265 [12] pages Red cloth covered hardback . White titles to front board. From H G Wells' library via Annjane Kennard Ann Jane was H G Wells' daughter. Deckle page edges to all edges. 420 grams. Signed by Annajane Kennard. to front end paper "A J Kennard". I can find NO other copies of this edition 1 pinhole insect holes in rear but does not penetrate. Back board a bit loose. Rear end papers a bit brown. Cloth to spine has separated from the board backing. Top of spine a bit chipped.
