Descriptive blurb tipped in on title page. Textured maroon card wrapper w bronze lettering on cover and spine. No wear to covers or spine. Binding square and sound. Blue-tone illustrated DJ is clean, showing chipping at corners and head, and partial separation of flaps. DJ now preserved in archival cover. "This is a story of pioneer people. The saga of railroad building, the hazards of settlement, and the tales of old-timers reveal all the humour, pathos, and adventure of life in Northern Ontario.
