Off setting to first free endpaper from front pastedown where book plate or pocket was carefully removed. Toning to pastedowns and endpapers. Text is clean and bright. Missing the scarcer dust jacket. 140 pp. Octavo, 5 5/8 x 8 1/2 The journal of Dr. Evans of Shelbyville, Tennessee, written while on the way to California in search of health and gold in 1850.
