Washington: Government Printing Office, 1900. First edition of War Notes 1-8. Octavo. Variously paginated. Folding maps. Each of the eight parts with its own orange front and rear wrappers. Publisher's pebble-grain green cloth with gilt spine and cover lettering. Front hinge starting, ery narrow bands of dampstaining to top and bottom (about an eighth of an inch each), some minor silverfishing to cloth. A complete copy, clean, in the original binding.
