Scrapbook of press notices and laudatory letters kept by the relgious author and bookseller Anson D.F. Randolph (1820-1896). Including reviews tastefully clipped out and tipped into this album with holograph notes of his 1867 book of poetry "Hopefully Waiting and Other Verses", published by Charles Scribner's. Randolph was a fellow publisher and friend of Scribner. His firm was Anson D.F. Randolph & Co. and published mostly religous books.
With letters tipped-in at back praising the book. An unmounted ALS from H.D. Linton, son of the famous English and Ct. engraver W.J. Linton is laid in at end.
