Edinburgh: John Grant, 1924-01-01. Hardcover. Very Good/Good+. Complete issue in 12 volumes, with dust jackets. John Grant, 1924; no additional printings indicated; Thornton Edition, edited by Temple Scott; black and white photo plates in each volume. All volumes bound in green cloth boards with gilt titles on spine; thick, rough cut/deckled pages; green top-stain on all volumes. All volumes bear the same bookseller tag fixed to front paste-down (Henry B. Saxton, Bookseller and Stationer, King St., Nottingham). Bindings are tight and sturdy; text/illustrations very good throughout each volume; very minor wear at corners, else exterior cloth in very good condition, gilt titling on spines remains bright and bold; some very minor fading to green top-stain. Dust jackets in VG-/G+ condition, showing minor age-toning on spines, light fraying at spine ends; spine titling on jackets remains bold; all jackets arrive wrapped in protective (and removable) mylar wrappers.
