Eustachio Manfredi was an Italian astronomer and mathematician who is best remembered for his scientific studies on celestial bodies. These studies were published under the name 'Ephemerides Motuum Coelestium', a work that discussed his discovery of comets and asteroids, as well as one of the earliest explanations of the Earth's orbit around the Sun.

This 1725 printing of 'Ephemerides' features impressive engravings depicting the movement of the earth, sun, and moon during a lunar eclipses and a fascinating folding map of an eclipse over the world, published for celestial activity of 1726-1737.
