About This Item
Fairfax, VA: National Rifle Association, 1971 National Rifle Association, Fairfax, VA. 1971. Softcover/Trade Wraps. First Edition. Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for former owner name on the first page. Book Condition: Good; rolled and bumped fore edge tips; suntanned outline on rear wrap; wear to spine tail; edge bumping overall. No DJ. Printed Wraps. Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is secure within binding. Includes 5 Kansas Forestry, Fish and Game Commission Information Bulletins from the 1970s. 89 pp 4to. This was prepared as part of the commemoration of the first 100 years of the National Rifle Association (1871-1971). This not your traditional cookbook as it is designed to help in the preparation of wild game such as would be presented in the kitchen by NRA members after a shoot; recipes for moose, venison, bear, raccoon, quail, and other wild life abound. A clean presentable copy such as you would find in a game-hunter's kitchen where it had regular reference.
