A decent reading copy that has a number of flaws. Paper covered cardboard covers with a leather (four raised bands) spine. Covers seriously worn. Leather also well worn but gilt titling to spine still good. Lacking endpapers. Foxing throughout, some heavy, some light. Grime here and there, a few minor tears. Ex-library with a few markings. A few pencil markings including on frontis. Last 14 pages coming loose. This is the second edition,corrected and expanded. (cfm)
