Book Condition: Fine; small blue ink smudges on text block bottom. No DJ. Pictorial wraps. Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is not creased or split. 265 pp. The Battle of Mine Creek was the only Civil War battle fought in Kansas between uniformed troops and involved large forces on both the Union and Confederate sides. Despite the fact that one of the greatest, most spectacular and successful cavalry charges of the war took place during the battle, it has been given both inadequate and inaccurate coverage in Civil War books and publications. A clean pristine copy.
