Boston: Brown and Company, 1944. Very good plus in very good jacket.. First edition of this WWII-era Dick Whittington mystery set in London. 7.5'' x 5''. Original brown cloth, red lettering to front, spine. In original unclipped ($2.50) dust jacket. 300 pages. Old Capital Club ink stamp to front free endpaper. Jacket moderately edgeworn, with some shallow chipping at spine, faint spot of dampstain to rear corner. Foxing to top edge. Sound, unmarked, clean.
