The text is illustrated with numerous photographs, mostly colour but some black and white. Colour photographic card cover with purple and white coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the backstrip. Listed alphabetically, the authors went around Australia for the weird and wonderful. From death masks of executed felons at Old Melbourne Jail (including Ned Kelly's), lizard racing, jelly gobble to an unfortunate pairing of a zebra and a donkey -- a Zedonk.
