London: Hutchinson, 1972. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Signed by Author. First UK Edition. INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR IN THE YEAR OF PUBLICATION. The Odessa File (Hutchinson 1972). A rather dusty top edge otherwise a VG+ copy in like D/W slightly rubbed to the extremities. Inscribed by the Author to the half-title: For/ Carolyn/ with my warmest regards/ Freddie Forsyth/ 5.11.72. It is relatively uncommon to find Forsyth inscriptions signed with the more ‘familiar’ Freddie reserved for only the closest conections. Adapted into the gripping 1974 movie of the same name starring Jon Voight and Maximilian Schell. Photographs/scans available upon request.
