The present edition comprises a facsimile of the Godthab edition (pages [i]-[18]), together with a modern Danish translation by Frederik Nielsen (pages [19-32]). One of 1,200 copies. The author was the son of Peter Kragh (1794-1883), the famous Greenland missionary and translator of numerous Biblical and devotional texts 1822 &c. The younger Kragh was himself a missionary at Upernavik 1849-58; apart from the present work, he contributed to a volume of meteorological observations made in Greenland. While not uncommon in libraries, this edition seems to be quite scarce in the trade. -- Series: Gronlandsk bogskat. -- Reference: OCLC 35684741. .
