This is a monumental work of 674 pages with a selected bibliography and comprehensive index of Oklahoma Birds at the end of the volume. There is a blue speckled finish on the top edge of the pages. The pages are clean. The top edge of the covers of the work have some discoloration. The dust jacket has some chips and small tears and age spots but looks quite nice in its archival quality cover. The jacket has a few small, closed tears at the edges. Light blue cloth binding, with the top edge of the page block speckled with light blue. Includes maps, color frontispiece, and 29 line drawings of different birds. Neatly inscribed by the author and dated in 1967 on the front endpaper. Laid in is a 1967 newspaper article about Dr. Sutton's concerns for wildlife in the aftermath of Rachel Carson's Silent Spring.
