Spine lettered in gilt. With previous owner's bookplate on front pastedown. Head and tail of the spine lightly frayed, and spine sunned, extremities rubbed, some gluing to front outer hinge, some soiling spots on front cover, p. 41-44 is loose. Overall a good copy. This is the first time The Old Curiosity Shop was published as a separate volume. It was also published in volumes I and II of Master Humphry's Clock. " This separate issue of The Old Curiosity Shop was created from portions of Master Humphry's Clock, which accounts for its irregularities."
