DeWolfe, Fiske, & Co., Publishers, ca. 1919. Hardcover. Acceptable. 439 p., unmarked but stained along edges of last 20 pages. Presentation inscription on front paste down is 1919, but there is no date on title page, which is detached from the rest of the text block. The copyright page is missing. The sewn binding is rim , but front board, much abraded at crown is almost detached. Despite being faderd and scuffed, the front baord has beautiful floral design with embossed lettering.

Burgundy spine with gilt decorations and lettering. (chip to lower spine about size of half dollar) 352 pp. Frontis engraving from 1888, showing two guys in England street fist fighting. Front hinge cracked else good. Written about 1840. Illustrated.
