Library pocket on rear free endpaper, small stain to top stain, some wear at corners of boards, NO spine slant, binding appears perfect, minor wear at top end of dj spine, otherwise this is a very nice ex-library copy of one of James Crumley's masterpieces (the other being The Last Good Kiss) . 'Slag' Krummel, who arrives at Clark Air Force base in the Philippine Islands in the summer of 1962, narrates this story of men and women caught in the absurdities of war and its aftermath..
