Fine in a near fine dustwrapper with a few small tears to the top edge. Inscribed by the author to the great boxing champion Gene Tunney and his wife: "To Aunt Polly and Uncle Gene, dear friends of all Pryors and Thomases for as long as I can remember -- an opportunity to show you about 'The Great Land' would be a joyous occasion for both Lowell and me! With love from all, Tay, July, 1969." Tay Thomas is a noted philanthropist and travel writer who fled to Alaska from a New Jersey suburb, and never looked back.
