Lyon: Antoine Chard, 1624. Internally very good(+).<br/> <br/> First combined edition of Ars Medica (1607) and De Febribus (1610), by the noted Scottish mathematician and physician. The two medical works, a general treatise on medicine and study on fevers, were held in high esteem in his day. Liddel, a professor then rector of the university in Helmstadt "is said to have been the first (in Germany) to teach astronomy of Copernicus and of Tycho Brahe side by side with the Ptolemaic hypothesis".
