Description:
James Munroe and Company, Boston, 1850. Acceptable. Greek with notes in English; 252 p., mostly clean and unmarked but someone cut a section of the upper corner edge of the t.p. away, and there appear to be erasures beneath followed by penciled name of former owner; paste downs and back end page are printed with listing of other publications. Binding is firm; black boards with embossed design and bright gilt lettering on spien are only slightly bumped but cloth on lower spine has been peeled away and there is a ding at crown of spine. Paper of very fine quality, only mildly age-toned but with occasional foxing.

Interior good, generally clean with a few minor pencil marks, internal binding solid, paper moderately yellowed, BUT exterior is fair only, with large pieces missing from the back strip top and bottom, corners worn through to boards.
