Well illustrated throughout with many fine engraved illustrations and plates (some of them double page, large thick octavovo, pp xx, 796, (i), + 19 pages of adverts, all edges gilt, scattered foxing throughout, front hinge cracking but sound, gilt decorated bevelled cloth, slightly worn, spine rubbed and a bit worn, joints rubbed and creased. [Phil Cribb's copy with his signature opposite the title page.] . Decorative Cloth. Good.
