Deposit, NY, USA: The Deposit Journal, 1894. According to Howes, the first printing was Monticello, NY, 1851, as "Tom Quick, The Indian Slayer". This is the reprinted (second) edition, with changed title. -- Dark brown cloth boards with gilt lettering on front. -- Some minor wear to corners and a few other spots on covers. Inner hinges cracked front and back, also at last page of text; wobbles but holding well. Former owner inscriptions on ffep. Interior tanning throughout, otherwise tight and clean. Overall Good condition. 123 pp.. Reprinted (Second) Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Dust Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
