n.p.: n.p., 1940. Fine. Signed with her name along the bottom left-center. 3½ by 5 inches mounted on card 9 by 11 inches, with a recent mat of the same size. A brightly colored charming illustration depicting an elf astride a small bird, another child mounting his, and the third child falling off a bird, with plants and mushrooms in a green vale with puffy clouds in the sky,
We have not been able to authenticate this as being by Outhwaite, nor find a book in which it appeared, and so we list it as "in her style", as it may be by an imitator.
