London: Henry G. Bohn, 1867. Full Leather. Good+/No Jacket. sm 4to. Complete in two volumes. Polished Moroccan leather covers with gilt stamped lettering and decoration. Red leather spine labels. Marbled end leave and edges of text blocks. Covers show rubbing along edges and joints, along with worn corners, and scattered scuffs. Presentation book plates on front paste downs, with that in Vol. II being partially removed. Inked names on first blank pages. Perforated statement of institutional ownership on title page across authors name and part of title. Occasional penciled marginalia and marks on edges of text. Both volumes remain tight. A good working set, still with great shelf appeal.
