Bound with: [Edmund Parker], A Companion to the Altar: Shewing the Nature and Necessity of a Sacramental Preparation, in order to our Worthy Receiving the Holy Communion, London: Printed for Edmund Parker, 1725. 10th edition. 74 numbered pages, with engraving and separate title page. ESTCT230779. Bound with: Sternhold, Thomas, and John Hopkins, The Whole Book of Psalms Collected into English Metre, London: Printed by Tho[mas] Wood, 1726. 96 unnumbered pages. Collates as A - D (12 page quires) + 3 rfep (1 marbled). ESTCT88842 (with variant date on title page). Bound in full black morocco with gilt Georgian style paneling to boards and extensive gilt decorations to spine, which is in six compartments with raised bands, wear and crack to spine and wear to edges, which have been professionally conserved. All page edges gilt. A nicely bound and very clean combination of Georgian liturgical and devotional texts.
