In quarto boards with a striking metallic-like fabricord binding and gilt stamping to the spine. Tannhauser has moderate foxing to the first and last few pages. Very Good or better. In a pleasing, contemporary art binding with silver cloth patterned in blind over semi-flexible boards and titles in gilt on spine, including owner's last name in gilt at foot. Corners softened, private ownership stamp "From the Philisophical Research Library of Stefan Swizewski" and numbers to endsheets and title pages, notation to preliminary page, foxing to Tannhauser.
