(London) 4 7/8 x 7 3/8 inches tall brown embossed hardbound, gilt lettering to front cover and spine, 78pp. Ex-library. Minimal rubbing and edgewear to covers. Call number sticker to spine, library stamp to title page and card pocket and sticker on rear pastedown. Association copy: a bookplate on the front pastedown attests to the prior ownership of James Hastings (1852 - 1922), a well-known Scottish Presbyterian minister and biblical scholar who founded The Expository Times, a still extant academic journal of Biblical studies, theology, and ministry. Ingli James, was a Baptist writer and minister, serving as pastor of congregations in England and Wales, including Pantygwdr Baptist Church in Swansea, Wales, from 1923 - 1932.
