Out of Fire & Valor: The War Memorials of New York

by Snyder, Cal

Condition: Fine/Near Fine

Piermont, NH: Bunker Hill Publishing Inc, 2005. 2005 First Edition, First Printing. FINE in NEAR FINE dust jacket. Includes 2-page typed letter from the author (and signed by author) to Brian Lehrer in New York (likely the public radio talk radio host). This is a fresh, fresh, unmarked copy (Snyder says in his letter that he marked a few passages of special interest; they must have been removable markers). From humble plaques to grand sculptures, New York City's monuments pay tribute to the sacrifices made by brave fighting regiments and individuals. Snyder captures their eloquent message in this beautifully produced volume, replete with color photographs. 7-1/4 x 11-1/4". 240 pages, including detailed index.. First Edition. Hardcover.
