Tears to some pages, text remains unaffected. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Wear marks overall.

Bound by Zaehnsdorf in red crushed morocco with gilt-tooled border, 5 raised bands, double gilt-stamped black leather spine labels, remaining compartments gilt decorated, all edges bright gilt, inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, printed on scritta/bible paper (or onion skin), hence the substantial amount of pages for such a small book. Touch of rubbing primarily to joints at spine ends, one small scuff mark to upper cover and a light scratch to lower cover, otherwise a very handsome, near fine copy.
