Illustrated by the author with one hundred and four fascinating first hand drawings. Charles George Harper was an English author and illustrator who wrote and self-illustrated many books on travel, exploration and the British Isles. Condition: In a cloth binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing and marks to boards. Bumping to extremities. Internally, binding strained in places with pages 113-114 and 127-128 detached but present. Pages bright andgenerally clean with the odd spot. Overall: GOOD ONLY.

The spine is la little bumped to the head and the tail, and there is a small chip in the cloth at the front joint near the head. With some light bumping to the extremities.
