A discussion and description of the archaeological digs and findings in Egypt at the Palace of Apries in Memphis around 1909, describing various discoveries. FAIR condition. Ex-library, with faint remains of marking on the lower spine, and pocket/pastedown removed from the interior. Moderate darkening to the covers, with some soiling and faint scattered dampstaining. Scattered smallish stains to the covers. Heavy scuffing and fraying to the cloth along the extremities. Heavy splitting to the cloth along the front hinge. Moderate browning to the paper, with the paper being rather brittle. Several pages with chips missing from their corners or extremities. A few plates with rather large tears.
