About This Item
Iowa City, IA: The State Historical Society of Iowa, 1956. Staple-bound Softcover. Very Good. Pages crisp, bright, and clean; stapled binding secure. Soft cover has just a little chipping at the spine ends, otherwise excellent. 32pp., illustrated in black-and-white. This issue, primarily authored by Donald R. Murphy, delineates the history of the newspaper "Wallace's Farmer and Iowa Homestead," arguably started in 1856.
