As New covers and spine; few small light spots on text block edges; tightly bound; slight fading at end paper edges; crisp, clean interior; 2 pp slightly darkened from once laid in acidic paper. DJ is complete; lightly scuffed/soiled; small chips at spine head. From the collection of Prof. Christopher Lasch, likely came from his father-in-law's collection - Henry Steele Commager, a member of the 'editorial advisory committee' for this series of volumes. Large 8vo, 715 pp; index; illustrated.
