First published in 1926 by the Hogarth Press, this account of Sackville-West's 1926 trip to Iran is full of the author's poignant observations on travel, travelers and Persia. Her son Nigel Nicholson provides, in his introduction, many new personal details of the journey that were omitted from the original edition. Includes many photographs all previously unpublished.
