New York: Covici, Friede Publishers, 1928. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 8vo. English, with some Chinese. Quarter grey cloth with orange patterned paper boards. Cream paper spine label with red lettering. Tan endpapers. 200 p.p. Roughly cut edges. Wear to tail edge, especially at corners and to spine foot, bumpng to upper corners. Rear hinge cracking, and inner hinge cracking at flyleaf. Offsetting to front endpapers. Darkening to spine and edges of dust jacket, several large chips to spine head and foot, small chips to corners, spine at rear joint. Long tear to rear joint, bumping to edges, a few red scuffs to covers. Dust jacket is price clipped. In the heritage of every race there is a love epic, some poignant, legendary tale. The touching tale of Yang Kwei-Fei and her imperial lover, Ming Huang, is the great love story of China.
