New York: Dodd & Mead, 1872. First American Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good+/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. This cbook clean, tight, square with good corners and unmarked. There is light bumping/rubbing at the edges most noticeable at the ends of the spine and the corners. The spine is a bit rubbed and there is occasional foxing. The boards are covered in brown cloth with the gold titles on the spine and stamped titles and designs in black on the front. The book is illustrated with a series of very nice colored glossy drawings. The pages are gilt edged at the top. NAP indicates first edition. There's a very small stain on the rear board.
