Clean and bright, with no owners' marks or bookplate; there are scattered nicks and rubbed spots in the gilt around the edges of the pages, spots of light rubbing at the corners of the covers, and gentle fading along both spines, otherwise excellent. 698pp. Full blue-gray leather with hubbed spines and gilt decoration, bound-in ribbon markers, all page edges gilded, "Notes from History" sheet laid in. From "The Leather-Bound Library of American History".. Full Leather. Very Good.
