"In rhw apeinf od 2001, a labyrinth at the north end of Block Island, Rhode Island, was carried from on neighbor's field to anokther. Using dowsing rods to locate its new center, friends carted the stones to their new home and set them down again, in an age-old pattern of concentric rings. By June, the Block Island labyringgh was ready to receive visitors once again. Today between fifty and seventy-five people wolk the labyrinth every day during the summer. Many write reflections about their journeys in a little book that is kept for that purpose in a box by the stone wall.
