London, Blackie & Son, ca1909. Hardback, approx 7 x 5 inches. In red cloth with gilt lettering and coloured pictorial/floral designs to front and spine. Top edges olivine. In very good condition. Some minor rubbing to corners and ends of spine. Slight fading to spine and some minor darkening to rear board with 2 small circular indentations. Presentation label to endpaper “Campbell Fiskin, Dundas Public School, 1910-11,” some darkening to title page and frontis, and last cat page, else a lovely clean and tight copy. 192pp +16pp. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece and 1 b&w plate.
