Clare") was a prolific writer in many genres.This is a Very Good Plus copy of her popular biography of the great Irish patriot. This is the First American Edition - one of several fancy versions printed by Sadlier (her regular American publisher) but also issued under "Kenmare Publications," Cusack's imprint. Quercus assumes this to be a subscription item used as a fund-raiser by Cusack; she was known to subsidize her charitable work with her writings.
