WHALEY 30 -"First edition of 1,000 copies sold out." This collection of recipes, home remedies, and personal descriptions of the times was gathered from the papers of Elisha Marshall Pease, Governor of Texas, 1853 - 1857, and his family and includes Governor's Pease's account of the first party given in the Governor's Mansion. Not seen in slipcase previously.
