Beuchet et Vanden Brugge, Nantes, 1957. Book. Illus. by Albert Brenet, Marin-Marie, Mathurin Méheut. Very Good. Wrappers, with board Slipcase. 308 pages. Oblong format paperback, bound in stiff illustrated paper covers, and cased in a gray cloth covered slipcase. Texts in French. Beautiful full color and full page lithographs depicting fish and fishing. Slipcase has a moderate degree of tanning, staining, and wear to the edges and particularly the spine, and the previous owner's bookplate remains affixed to one of the first pages. A special edition printed with the original owner's name published on one of the first pages: "Ce livre est un des exemplaires de luxe constituant l'édition originale. Il a été imprimé spécialement pour Monsieur Simon Cottrell." Else, the binding is tight and secure, with minimal shelfwear to the edges and vertical creasing to the spine.
