Chicago: Goldsmith Publishing Company, 1918. Hardbound . Reprint Edition. BINDING/CONDITION: orange boards with black text; the paper is browning severely; owner's name, otherwise a Good+ book, with a Fair dust jacket. The jacket has good color, but three largish chips ranging from about the size of a quarter to a fifty cent piece. This is from the publisher's Boys and Girls Books series. The jacket blurb describes the Peggy Stewart series as ''the story of a naval officer's charming daughter. Whether at home, on the lovely ancestral estate in Maryland, or in Boston and Newport, her activities and adventures are many and thrilling. Life on an old southern estate, social activities at school and elsewhere...'' The only printed date is the original 1918 copyright; this is a later reprint. 8vo (about 8 inches tall) 241 pages.
