Hodder & Stoughton, 1952. Hardcover. Acceptable. Published by: Books says The McBride Company, Dust jacket says Hodder & Stoughton [Published date: 1952] Hard cover, 259 pp. Stated First Edition. Good in poor dust jacket. Red cloth covered boards with gold lettering on front and spine. Light rubbing and fading to edges and spine. Binding tight. Previous owner's name and address blind-stamped on front free end paper. Pages are otherwise lightly aged but clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has a large 2x3" chipe out of the top of the spine and top edge of the back cover and several other smaller chips and tears and creasing along edges. Moderate to heavy overall rubbing, scuffing, soiling and fading to jacket as well. Price clipped. Now in an archival quality Brodart cover. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. Includes 162 b&w photo reproductions and illustrations.
