Covers papers dated 1914-21. With 34 plates and 32 plates of photographs. Bound for the Royal Society of Edinburgh and with their crest in gilt on the spine. Half leather and marbled board binding with gilt compartments, label and volume and year in gilt. The binding has scuffing and edge wear and the spine joints are worn.The contents are in very good clean condition with just occasional spotting or marking (where present usually to top margin). The Royal Society has stamped the front pastedown, the bottom of the title page and the top of p413.
