Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Visible crushing to spine ends. Noticeable tanning to spine and edges. Black and white marks and scratches to boards. Textblock is shaky.

Not dated'; circa 1947. In dark green cloth boards, red and black titles and small culinary illustration on front, fairly good, tight covers, but grubby and marked; also edge-worn and corners bumped and frayed. Tight spine, but ends very frayed. tanned, especially around the edges, with black and white photographs and a few drawings. A fairly good reading copy.
